Subjecting soleprint to fingerprint recognition algorithm treatment

This experiment was carried out to demonstrate that a Soleprint would easily substitute fingerprint for identification and voting purposes leprosy patients, injury victims, natural causes who have no fingerprints. The recognition algorithm used throughout the conduct preprocessing stages such as segmentation, normalization, Gaussian blurring, noise reduction, Canny, Orientation, Binarization Thinning, Gabor Filtering, Minutiae Extraction. These were performed on image Fingerprint with same properties of 8-bit grey-level, 600-dpi resolution, scale 256 pixels, all in bitmap compression format. Since not designed assess algorithms, computation time considered. When findings compared, it discovered has impact both photos (Soleprint Fingerprint, whorl class) minutiae points are basis matching today's trend, also present Soleprint. A modern method self-identity lepers patients is now accessible.
